Capcanto GmbH and Capcanto Ltd. are separate legal entities and each acts as an independent controller within the meaning of Art. 4(7) GDPR; there is no joint controllership within the meaning of Art. 26 GDPR. This website does not contain a contact form: you send your message directly to the email address of the company you choose; only that company receives your data and processes it solely to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). When you visit this website, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser type) in server log files to provide the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Recipients: This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany, in data centres located in Germany; STRATO acts as our processor on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Beyond this, we disclose personal data only to our email and IT service providers and to our tax and legal advisers, and only where necessary for the performance of a contract, to safeguard legitimate interests or to comply with legal obligations.

Fonts: This website does not load fonts from external servers. The Barlow typeface is served exclusively from our own web space; no connection to third-party servers is established and no IP address is transmitted to third parties.

Retention: Server log files are stored for a maximum of 30 days and then deleted. Data from contact enquiries is deleted once the enquiry has been dealt with conclusively; statutory retention obligations (sec. 257 German Commercial Code, sec. 147 German Fiscal Code) remain unaffected – in that case the data is restricted from further processing. Your locally stored language preference remains in your browser until you delete it there.

Cookies: This website does not set any cookies — no tracking, analytics or marketing cookies. Only if you actively select a language is that choice stored locally in your browser (localStorage, consent-free under sec. 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG) and is not transmitted to us.
